How to get started in focus booster

Getting started in focus booster is simple. You can get started on your journey in becoming more productive, with a better knowledge of where your time goes in just a few seconds.

Productivity is all about building momentum, and the pomodoro technique is a surefire way to help you go from completing less than 50% of your to-do list to 95%. That's double the productivity, without working extra time! Here's how to get started...

1. Create a client

Assign a 'client' to your pomodoro sessions to track your work scope and easily create time entry reports when invoicing. Don't have clients? Create a project or, leave this field blank for now.

2. Create a label

Labels are your to-do list tasks, helping you categorise where your time goes. A label can be simple like, 'Emails' or a subtask of a project like 'Onboard new client.' Let's start with a task you need to complete today to feel accomplished.

3. Start using the Pomodoro technique

The timer is configured with the pomodoro technique for you. All you need to do is hit 'play' and work solidly on the task for 25-minutes. We'll notify you when it's time for a 5-minute break. Then repeat these two steps three more times.

You will then have successfully completed a series of pomodoros and will be rewarded with a long break of 20-minutes.
